Recruiting Coordinator

Work with a fun, progressive, high-energy, and growth oriented staffing agency in the Chicago Loop area. The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for effectively sourcing and screening qualified applicants for a wide variety of companies in the Chicagoland area. This role is designed to develop the individual and provide required training to become a Recruiter within the organization. The Recruiting Coordinator is directly involved in all searches by supporting the process of identifying the appropriate candidates and assisting in moving them through the hiring process. Responsibilities of the Recruiting Coordinator:


  • Facilitate interview scheduling process from initial contact to delivering interview schedules

  • Identify and screen qualified candidates for open and future positions

  • Utilize LinkedIn, applicant database and other research tools to build lists of experienced candidates for open and future searches

  • Initiate contact and introduce job opportunities to candidates

  • Conduct professional references on candidates being considered for open positions

  • Facilitate testing, background checks, interview confirmations

  • Conduct phone interviews to evaluate the potential fit of applicants for open roles

  • Maintain relationships with candidates and provide customer service via phone and email

  • Assist with answering phones on an as needed basis

Job Requirements

Requirements of the Recruiting Coordinator:


  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Minimum 1 year corporate experience, preferably in sales or a relationship development role

  • Strong interest in a career in Recruiting

  • Excellent follow-through and attention to detail

  • Enjoys being challenged and learning on a daily basis

  • Exhibits a high sense of urgency and tenacity

  • Ambitious and financially driven

  • Enjoys being challenged and learning on a daily basis

  • Enthusiastic and positive approach with all you do

  • Comfortable and confident in networking with others
