Plan Maintenance Data Coordinator

Job Description

Primary Purpose:

Ensure that the rates, plans and benefits built and displayed on Quotit websites are current and accurate, with data and collateral loaded and functional.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.


  • Work within a team to compile, standardize and accurately build medical, dental, supplemental and Medicare data information into a SQL database

  • Perform data review and system testing to ensure data integrity

  • Use various methods to merge and transform data into the system's standard which may include manual and programmatic methods

  • Analyze incoming data to find missing pieces

  • communicate clearly the data needs/requirements to outside vendors and internal team members

  • Research and resolve data and system discrepancies; participate in writing up TFS data service tickets


Minimum Skills and Competencies:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.


  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)

  • Basic understanding of, and experience with, relational databases and associated functionality

  • High level data entry skills utilizing a variety of data transformation methods

  • A strong background in mathematics, programming, and/or logical problem solving

  • Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines

  • Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills


Desired Skills:


  • Understanding of the insurance industry products

  • 2+ years of experience in a related field

  • SQL Server, WorkFront, Zendesk, and TFS experience
