Job Summary

The Global Partner Support Operations Specialist is responsible for creating process improvement initiatives for the organization. This involves providing operational consultation and strategy to internal partners for fulfillment of CareerBuilder products and services. The Specialist will have a keen attention to detail and will be able to learn quickly in a rapidly changing environment. Critical thinking and risk-taking attributes are required to perform multiple functions of this role. It is critical to have excellent communication skills, be business process savvy, as well as strong organizational and time-management skills. A wide degree of creativity is expected in this role to facilitate delivery of results to our business. The specialist will work with our offshore partners to outsource a variety of tasks for the business and ensure that tasks are completed in the most efficient manner possible. Operations Specialists are held accountable for continuously identifying ways to improve processes and pulling through on such initiatives. The Operations Specialist will have the ability to communicate effectively and influence across multiple levels of the organization.

An enthusiasm for being helpful and finding innovative, cost effective solutions to support our internal and external customers are preferred characteristics for this position. The candidate will be responsible for managing multiple projects to drive retention and grow new and existing programs while determining opportunities for automation.

Primary Functions


  • Work cross-functionally and provide consultation on operational best practices, process improvements, and optimal use of products to both internal and external clients

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to offshore new tasks, including facilitating training, gathering process documentation, determining effort required to fulfill requests, and creating optimal process set-ups including creation of workflows to receive requests

  • Analyze, observe, and work with others to determine business needs and create scalable processes to solve complex business problems

  • Build trust with stakeholders and provide additional value-based recommendations to impact major business initiatives

  • Must be able to turn ambiguous situations and information into sound recommendations relevant to current needs

  • Design and deploy scalable processes to drive consistency and quality across all interactions

  • Identify process improvement and automation opportunities and work with cross-functional teams to implement initiatives

  • Lead projects and establish objectives and outcomes to achieve superior metrics

  • Provide frequent business updates back to stakeholders to share metrics and recommendations

  • Review client feedback to continually evolve global solutions and strengthen partnerships with stakeholders and vendors

  • Provide coaching to fulfillment agents to enhance client experience using unified processes and consistency

  • Ensure team provides timely responses that meet service level expectations

  • Handle escalated technical issues during fulfillment by working with technology and product teams to troubleshoot and provide advanced solutions as needed

  • Drives operational excellence and improves processes to increase accountability

  • Provide continuous lean improvement to existing tasks




  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Project management experience preferred

  • Lean Six Sigma experience/certification preferred

  • Energy, creativity, attention to detail, and an ability to learn quickly

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, with emphasis on meeting deadlines

  • Ability to ask thoughtful questions and utilize resources to find answers and create solutions

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work well in a cross-functional global environment with multiple stakeholders

  • Strong knowledge of CareerBuilder products and services

  • Good analysis, consulting, and problem-solving skills to understand fulfillment requirements

  • Enthusiastic about new technology and helping to develop processes

  • Embodies all CareerBuilder corporate values
