Job Description

Mildred Elley, a private multi campus institution, is seeking a full-time Medical Assisting clinical instructor (Patient Care, Phlebotomy, EKG, and Specialized Procedures) for evening (two evenings a week) and day divisions at its Pittsfield campus. The faculty and staff of Mildred Elley have a demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, focusing on academic improvements, student service improvements, and accreditation and compliance improvements.  



Job Description: Candidate will teach clinically based courses to Medical Assisting students covering topics of basic patient care, charting, common test procedures, EKG and phlebotomy.  Instruction is both lecture and skills centered.  Candidate needs to be proficient in the skills and material required to instruct these courses.  Work experience in the field is preferred, area certification is required.  Individuals with experience teaching skills based courses will be given preference.  

Job Requirements

Requirements/Required & Preferred Credentials: 


  • Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s preferred 

  • Active CCMA/RMA/CMA/RN credentials

  • Course specific certifications (CPT, CET, etc)


 


Compensation:



Commensurate based on experience.
