Under the direction of the Maintenance Leader and Facility Manager, the Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance and repairs necessary to support production equipment and facility. manufacture product, while delivering service which meets customer quality expectations.
Reporting directly to the Manager of Facilities, this position is based in Manitowoc, Wisconsin*.
- Maintain and repair physical plant.
- Maintain and repair production equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electromechanical production equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair Fanuc robotics equipment.
- Construct jigs and fixtures for manufacturing.
- Maintain various tools and dies.
- Calibrate miscellaneous tools and equipment.
- Operate metal and wood fabrication machinery.
- Operate lifting equipment.
- Read and use measuring equipment.
- Use hand tools and power tools.
- Lift and move tools, parts, material.
Operate various electromechanical equipment.
- Comply with all environmental rules, policies, and practices.
- Properly handle and dispose of all waste materials (hazardous and non-hazardous).
- Basic computer skills to perform daily EMMS maintenance system requirements.
- Follow and comply with all safety rules and practices.
- Complete necessary paperwork
High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to weld
Ability to operate scissors lift.
Perform preventative maintenance to physical plants and equipment.
Repair physical plant and equipment.
Repair production fixtures.
Ability to safely use hand and power tools, and various electromechanical equipment.
Ability to lift and move tools, parts, and material.
Ability to read and work from drawings, instructions, and standards.
Ability to perform basic math.
Ability to perform job functions in a safe manner.
Successfully complete all training required by the safety/training matrix within 6 months, or within time constraints set by governmental regulations.
Ability to wear all Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E.) required, by company policy, for the job being performed.
