Human Resources Assistant

Job Description

  • Initiate correspondence with Senior HR Manager and Hiring Manager to identify needs for open position (job description, education, skills/requirements)
  • Research existing system for qualifying candidates
  • Placement of advertisements when needed for open positions
  • Assist with screening interviews & coordinate follow-up interviews with hiring managers
  • Utilize LiveScan to fingerprint staff
  • Track open position progress from start to hire utilizing applicant tracking system
  • Follow up with Hiring Manager consistently to ensure timely and appropriate hiring for any open positions
  • Ensure compliance in all aspects of the hiring process (assessments, background clearances, drug testing, physical/TB testing, etc.)
  • Coordinate and assist with new employee orientations
