FFT Therapist

Job Description

Job Summary:



The FFT Grant Therapist is responsible for implementing the Functional Family Therapy evidenced based model for children/adolescents and their families under the supervision of a clinical supervisor.



Responsibilities:




•     Provides therapeutic services in accordance with funders, COA standards, ICFH policies and procedures, and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.



•     Completes documentation that is accurate, thorough, individualized, and complete for each client and submitted within given deadlines.


•     Conducts family therapy sessions as determined by the grant and model expectations.


•     Provides direct on-site or outpatient services to clients as defined by grant and in accordance to the contracts goals and objectives.


•     Collaborates with the Juvenile Services Department on all active and pending referrals.


•     Properly documents all program outcomes in accordance to the grant needs.


•     Participates in case staffing meetings as required and with model consultant(s).


•     Participates in weekly individual and group supervision.


•     Accurately enters data into electronic database (clinical feedback system) within given deadlines.



Qualifications:



A Master’s degree in Behavioral Health Sciences, such as mental health counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy; and a minimum of two years of experience working with children or adolescents with behavioral health needs.  Must participate in required FFT trainings within the first two weeks of hire and must be eligible for certification. Must have or be eligible to obtain State of Florida license as a registered intern with the Florida Board of Mental Health, Marriage and Family Therapy and or Social Work. In addition, candidates must be able to provide in-home services and work evening hours. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
