Entry Level Assistant Sales Director

Job Description

Manage daily activities of Sales Representatives.



Director of Sales in Training Duties:


  • Train, Coach, and ride with sales people in assigned territories on a scheduled basis to increase sales, profits, improve customer relations, penetrate accounts and keep abreast of current market conditions and trends ( if needed).



  • Review daily and weekly sales print-outs showing sales and gross margin. Manage and motivate sales force to increase both areas, as well as increasing quota.



  • Prepare extensive meetings and break outs to update and provide information to sales representatives and encourage high performance.



  • Take full responsibility for terminating non-productive people and hiring and training

Job Requirements

Education and experience qualifications of a director of sales:


- Director of sales must have thorough knowledge of services and prices; 1-2 years of proven field sales experience, a definite interest in company growth and personal gain.
- Director of Sales must be neat in appearance, self-motivated and honest.

Physical Attributes Needed for a Director of Sales:
- Director of Sales must be physically able to communicate with customers and clients daily
- Director of Sales must thrive to be successful
- Director of Sales must be personable with a great smile :)
