Mildred Elley, a private multi-campus two-year college, is seeking Adjunct English/General Studies instructors at its New York Metro Campus to teach English Composition, Oral Communication and/or Student Success Seminar, for morning, evening, and/or weekend class times. All courses are currently being delivered in a distance-learning mode for the remainder of the ongoing COVID-19 health crisis. The faculty and staff of Mildred Elley have a demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, focusing on academic improvements, student service improvements, and accreditation and compliance improvements.

Part-Time adjunct faculty typically teach one or two courses per academic term in the assigned discipline.

Requirements/Required & Preferred Credentials: 


  • We are looking for a collaborative and dedicated colleague who appreciates both the rewards and the challenges of educating adult students. 

  • Must have minimum Master’s level degree, with minimum 18 credits in English.


Compensation: 
Commensurate based on experience.
