Customer Service Representative

Job Description

Aerotek is currently hiring for a Customer Service Representative position located in Sykesville, MD, paying $14/hr to $15/hr.

Qualifications:

  • Candidates must have 2+ years of customer service experience
  • Data entry experience is highly preferred as this position is much heavier on data entry and Excel usage, rather than inbound calls and up-selling
  • Candidates may also be vetting new customers through some online research
  • Proficient in Mircrosoft office (Excel)

Job Description:

  • Answers incoming customer calls regarding billing issues, product problems, service questions and general client concerns
  • Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism with clients and working to establish a positive rapport with every caller
  • Update customer information in the customer service database during and after each call
  • Work with the management team to stay updated on product knowledge and be informed of any changes in company policies
  • Impact the company's bottom line by problem solving and turning frustrated clients into repeat customers
  • Entering customer and account data from source documents within time limits
  • Compiling, verifying accuracy and sorting information to prepare source data for computer entry
  • Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities and checking output
