Customer Service Representative

Job Description

  • Provides general program information for Hoosier Healthwise and the Indiana Care Select, and HIP program and mails applications and program materials upon request.

  • Educates members on managed care, continuous enrollment materials, and annual enrollment.

  • Provides general program information for the Indiana Health Coverage Programs.

  • Processes member enrollments, PMP selections, and changes.

  • Verifies member eligibility in IndianaAIM. Sends update notices to the Division of Family Resources as necessary.

  • Administers the Health Needs Screening for all Hoosier Healthwise enrollees, provides additional information to those who may have special needs and makes referrals to other agencies or programs as necessary.

  • Enters data into MAXe system as needed.

  • Maintains current working knowledge of community resources, procedures and policies, and program information, referring to outside sources as needed.

  • Meets all standards established for this position as outlined in the attached performance criteria.

  • Performs other duties as assigned by project management.

Job Requirements

  • Excellent computer and communication skills

  • Must be able to pass drug screen/background checks.

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment
