B2B Marketing Manager

Job Description

The B2B Marketing Manager will be part of executing best-in-class digital marketing campaigns for CareerBuilder to support the company's go-to-market strategy. You will be responsible for building and executing campaigns that generate interest, produce leads, drive engagement and demand to support CareerBuilder's pipeline, bookings, and revenue goals.

The B2B Marketing Manager will partner closely with sales, product, operations, and other cross-functional teams to achieve goals. The candidate will develop and execute integrated programs, including Account-Based Marketing (ABM), lifecycle and nurture programs, that support our business goals across new customer acquisition as well as current customer base retention and expansion. You are someone who can turn customer insights into innovative campaign strategies and messaging that drive measurable results.

The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker and possess 5+ years of marketing experience.

Essential Responsibilities:


  • Participate in the cross-functional collaboration of various teams to build and execute B2B campaigns

  • Develop and execute B2B marketing plans that may include digital, email campaigns, participation in industry conferences and events, webinars, and website updates

  • Partner closely with sales, sales strategy, client advocacy, and communications to design and deliver integrated marketing programs

  • Collaborate with product marketing to leverage product & services positioning/messaging and target persona data in order to develop innovative & effective integrated programs & tactics that drive business results

  • Develop campaigns and sales enablement materials that position company value prop to the market

  • Measure results utilizing test-and-learn strategies, as well as market research and analysis, to drive strategic decision making

  • Identify trends impacting customers and shaping the industry; create communications strategies to demonstrate our market leadership

  • Develop a deep understanding of the B2B target audience's unique perspective and needs in terms of marketing; advocate for customer/prospect perspective representation in B2B content development and selling/pitching strategies across the organization




  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business, or related discipline

  • 3+ years experience in B2B marketing in a technology/software or SaaS company

  • Experience with Pardot, Marketo, HubSpot, or other marketing automation platforms

  • Proficient in Salesforce.com

  • Demonstrated experience in the development and execution of integrated, multi-channel B2B marketing campaigns: ideating, building, monitoring, optimizing, and measuring performance

  • Proven expertise in digital, lead/demandgen, product/solutions, and account-based marketing methodologies

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills - with proven ability to be both strategic and tactical, both leader and doer

  • Strong relationship-building skills; consistently collaborate cross-functionally amongst different business units within the organization, bridging gaps and silos to ensure continuity and scale across initiatives

  • Proficient in all modes of communication: written, verbal and formal presentation, with the ability to effectively "net it out" and tell the story - turning complex data into valuable insights, communicating recommendations, influencing various audiences to take action, and measuring impact/ROI

  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and project management skills; comfortable handling and coordinating multiple, simultaneous projects under deadline pressure while executing complex strategic and operational initiatives in a quality manner

  • High energy, autonomous self-starter who is focused, versatile, a team player, and consistently demonstrates operational process automation and improvement

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - both phone and email
