Administrative Assistant

Job Description

An innovative and high-growth company specialized in alternative medicine is seeking a highly motivated and professional Administrative Assistant to join their team in Chicago, IL. The Administrative Assistant will handle a wide range of administrative and office support responsibilities. The administrative Assistant will ensure leadership individuals are staying on track and that the entire team is has a helping hand and source for morale in the office. This is a great opportunity for someone with a positive attitude and is ready to jump in wherever needed. The hours for this position are 6am-2pm Monday through Friday and the salary range is $45-$49k.  



Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant:


  • Manage expenses and general data entry and upkeep

  • Scheduling and general calendar management

  • Prepare meeting materials including confidential information

  • Liaison with entire admin team to ensure seamless communication

  • Plan, prioritize, and follow-up on action items

  • Improve processes for optimal support of leadership team

  • Company-wide relationship building and maintenance

  • Greet guests and tend to their entire visit experience

  • Upkeep of office common areas, replenishing items as necessary

  • Coordinate daily lunches and catering including setup and removal

  • General reception and front desk tasks

  • Other administrative and personal assistant duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Requirements of the Administrative Assistant:


  • 1+ years of administrative or reception experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Expensify or similar system a plus

  • Ability to remain organized while multi-tasking

  • Keen attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Anticipate needs and prioritize accordingly

  • Take initiative and use resources to problem-solve
