Accounts Payable Coordinator

Job Description

A renowned commercial real estate company seeks a detailed and dynamic Accounts Payable Coordinator to join their team in a remote capacity. The Accounts Payable Coordinator will be responsible for administering the accounts payable process for assigned properties as well as providing support to the office as a whole when necessary. The salary range for this role is $16/hr during the temporary period and $40-44k when given a full-time offer.


Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Coordinator:


  • Process, print, and verify checks and monthly billings for assigned properties

  • Analyze and resolve payment and/or vendor concerns in a timely fashion

  • Assist Accounting Department with copying and filing of financial documents

  • Create portfolios for new property assignments

  • Assist with tax filings and tax bills

  • Coordinate and track the payment for real estate tax bills

  • Assist with office responsibilities such as ordering supplies, providing reception coverage, and coordinate mail deliveries and shipments as needed

  • Assist with opening bank accounts for new properties

  • Assist with the administration of the accounts receivable process as needed

Job Requirements

Requirements of the Accounts Payable Coordinator:


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/education required

  • 1+ years of previous accounting/administrative experience

  • Working knowledge of accounting software systems a plus

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments while managing several projects and priorities

  • High level of organization skills

  • Ability to work remotely
