Data Scientist

DCS Corporation is seeking a highly motivated Data Scientist for a fast-paced Army Program Office. The ideal candidate will develop and implement a set of techniques or analytics applications to transform data into meaningful information by integrating disparate sources into a unified data set.

Essential Job Functions:

Provides technical support in the evaluation of prime object names, data elements, and other objects in support of an Army Program Officer.

Evaluates proposed objects and their attributes.

Ensures proposed object definitions are clear, concise, technically correct, and that they represent singular concepts. 

Ensures that the values of object attributes and domains are accurate and correct. 

Ensures that the proposed objects are consistent with data and process models.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

A Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 15 years of experience is required. 

Must possess a DoD Secret security clearance.

Ability to clearly and concisely communicate orally and in writing.

Desired Skills:

Experience working in an Army/DoD requirement providing data analysis and related support is preferred.
