Home Properties is a real estate investment trust (REIT) with operations in selected Northeast, Midwest, Mid-Atlantic and Southeast Florida markets that is traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol HME. The Company owns, operates, acquires and rehabilitates apartment communities. Our vision is to be a prominent owner and manager of market-rate apartment communities, predominantly B class, typically with 150 or more units located in selected suburban markets of metropolitan areas with substantial barriers to new development. We will maintain or grow portfolios in markets that profitably support our mission, as economic conditions permit.
