A diverse set of generation resources serve a diverse group of customers. PacifiCorp relies on a variety of generation resources, both to maintain a balanced system and to ensure that all of its customers have access to reliable electricity supplies.

In addition to coal-fired, gas-fired and hydroelectric plants, PacifiCorp’s generation system includes a mix of power including thermal generation, mining, hydro power, and renewable energy.
