Salary Range: $67,214 - $ 90,833

The Tactical Mobility (TacMo) Integrated Product Team (IPT) develops and delivers innovative and custom software and hardware solutions/products that enable the ability to securely execute mission requirements and support integrated warfighting capabilities, meeting current and emerging critical fleet needs.

Essential Job Functions:

Ability to learn and implement a technical understanding of TacMo products through writing.

General knowledge of engineering, software development, and technology.

Assist subject matter experts with the writing, editing, and verification of technical documentation.

Generate and revise technical documents and instructional content including User Guides, Manuals, White Papers, Interface Control Documents (ICD), etc

Provide formatting and technical editing of documents and presentation materials based on DoD and TacMo style guides.

Support programmatic and technical meetings through scheduling and/or hosting meetings (teleconference and video-teleconference), capturing minutes and action items, and entering meeting results into Fusion/Wiki.

Support design reviews, requirements reviews, and other technical reviews (or review boards) through coordination with the systems engineering and software engineering task teams.

Document and assist with product and software releases in accordance with TacMo processes and procedures.

Work closely with the extended product development team on new product launches.

Research product hardware and software app version release to fully understand the product features, components, and set up procedures to support technical documentation generation and User Guides.

Produce briefing materials for TacMo leadership by collecting status inputs and metrics from TacMo personnel and stakeholders.

Develop style guides and templates (and updated existing ones) to achieve consistent content messaging across internal and external documentation.

Support continuous improvement for existing TacMo processes and procedures and update documents as required.

Produce or work with graphic designers to create visual aids for the IPT, to include infographics, diagrams, charts or video as needed to assist customers in understanding a product or process.

Help identify and report non-compliance to TacMo processes and procedures concerning configuration management of products.

Support CM/DM with change control activities and procedures for internal stakeholders and external vendors.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

BS/BA degree in English, communications, engineering, or computer technology with at least 5 years of relevant experience or an Associates level (technical school) degree with at least 7 years of relevant experience.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance for continued employment.

Self-motivated, quick learning, and comfortable working independently or in a group.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Detail oriented and must be able to work multiple assignments simultaneously.

Advanced skills utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and Power Point.

Must be able to manage multiple tasks across different teams.

Resourceful, creative, and adaptable.

Strong interpersonal skills

Desired Skills:

Experience with Atlassian tools (e.g., Jira and Confluence) and SharePoint. Experience with Fusion and Wiki sites.

Expertise with Adobe Acrobat.

Experience working with technical documentation.
