Facilities Specialist - Senior

As a highly motivated and experienced Facilities Specialist supporting the USRL at the 513th EWS, the ideal candidate will provide ongoing daily support for the maintenance and upkeep of assigned buildings and equipment necessary to facilitate mission success.  (05.1v1)

Essential Job Functions:

Daily facilities maintenance, including general tasks in the areas of electrical, civil, mechanical, and HVAC

Use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Prioritize routine maintenance and repair/replace tasks

Ensure unit facilities comply with the Commanding General's bi-annual inspection requirements checklist: Fire, Safety inspections, and continuity folder maintenance

Perform daily inspections of all assigned facilities and corresponding equipment

Receive and/or review work order requests for completeness and accuracy

Input / track requests via the systems (TRIRIGA)

Escort uncleared maintenance personnel in secure environments

Review project packages and/or record information prior to submission to Engineering technicians

Provide customer service to accomplish the work necessary to maintain the installation (i.e. maintenance, repair, and/or alteration of building utilities, and parking areas).

Maintain records by document control number and/or building number.

Develop scopes of work and associated cost estimates utilizing various associated commercially available cost estimating tools

oral communication skills and capability of facilitating and leading group discussions

Assist customer security with tasks

May be required to respond to facility emergency actions or planned work during non-standard work hours

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Bachelors in related technical field; or HS diploma/GED Associates with 7 years relevant experience.

Active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance: ability to maintain clearance throughout employment.

2+ years direct experience in all phases of facilities maintenance to include general knowledge in the areas of electrical, civil, mechanical, and HVAC

Desired Skills:

Experience utilizing the TRIRIGA work order system
