Intern

DCS Corp is seeking a dynamic, pro-active, team oriented, energetic, customer focused technology student to support our U.S. Army customer out of our Sterling Heights, MI location. You will be working with a group of Engineers supporting the execution of our customer’s daily operations and product development.

Essential Job Functions:

Provide software technology support for the development and maintenance of customer processes, infrastructure environment, tools, and product support.

Work closely with the customers to identify requirements and translate them to the infrastructure team. 

Collaborate with mixed contractor and government teams.

Participate in Scrum/Agile Team activities including stand-up meetings and other sprint activities.

Implement new strategies to streamline processes.

Manage daily expectations and deadlines using rolling action item list and team sync meetings.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements.

High School Diploma and currently enrolled as a sophomore, junior or senior level college student majoring in a software/computer technology related discipline. Please include current student classification (freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior) and anticipated graduation date on resume.

Strong interpersonal and customer interaction skills, and ability to work well in team environments.

Strong attention to detail and process driven in order to delivery efficient, accurate work products.

Excellent written and verbal English communications skills.

Familiarity with the Microsoft Suite of Tools.
