Robotics Integration Team Lead

DCS Corp Sterling Heights, MI (Onsite) Full-Time

The Robotics Integration team lead will be responsible for assisting the Government Lead, guide, organize, structure, and improve the overall effectiveness of the robotics integration team consisting of seven team members providing support to hardware software integration testing in the domains of systems and software engineering tasks.

Essential Job Functions:

Support the Gov’t Integration Team lead by maintaining a collaborative integration team, fostering cross-team communication, and ensuring meticulous capture and resolution of failures during testing.

Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement within the integration team, encouraging team members to proactively identify and implement efficiency-enhancing processes.

Foster a collaborative environment within the integration team, promoting knowledge-sharing and cross-training among team members.

Identify and address outdated processes both at DCS and GVR fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Manage a successful relationship between our customers and other DCS managers, offices, and teammates, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.

Execute meticulous integration and testing activities, manage system configurations, and continuously enhance engineering processes for optimal system performance and reliability.

Integrate requirements using tools like Confluence and JIRA, while demonstrating an agile mindset by quickly adapting to new tools like Requirements Yogi.

Effective serve as an information broker between diverse stakeholders, including hardware, software, safety, cyber, and both technical and non-technical government employees.

Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the system and adeptly communicated across the spectrum of individuals, adapting language to the audience.

Align the Systems Engineering process with the evolving needs of the government organization, transitioning from a Science and Technology-oriented approach to program-of-record support.

Elicit, analyze, and document system requirements, ensuring a seamless alignment with project objectives.

Develop and design robust system architectures, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve comprehensive solutions.

Actively collaborate within Agile ceremonies, engaging in sprint planning and review sessions.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret clearance.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline with 8 years of experience.

Leadership and mentoring skills.

Effective communication and collaboration.

Budget management and financial acumen.

Technical proficiency in robotics, autonomy, and integration testing of software centric systems.

Familiarity with tools and methodologies such as Agile Scrum.

Knowledge of Software Development (C++ is preferred).

Knowledge of hardware and software architecture.

Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Confluence, Jira, bitbucket, MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
