In early 2005, West Coast University became only the second-ever private post-secondary institution in California to be granted a Registered Nursing preparation program (Associates Degree in Nursing) by the Board of Registered Nursing. This was truly a testament to WCU’s quest for excellence and the pursuit of high demand career training. In June 2008, WCU became the first University of its kind in California to offer a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree.p>
